On the TLC show, a man complaining that he looks like a “man in a dress” is trying on wedding gowns.

The moment a transgender guy who believes he is a woman discovers he looks like a “man in a dress” while putting on wedding dresses is captured in a video that is going popular on social media.

The video, taken from an episode of TLC’s long-running program “Say Yes to the Dress,” shows a clear biological male with a deep voice and close-cropped.

Hair trying on a variety of wedding gowns at the renowned Kleinfeld Bridal in New York, but failing to find any that fit his non-girlish body.

He gestures to the place where he has—well, no bust—and says, “So I know this pads can be removed,” to the man assisting him in sorting among dresses designed for women’s frames.

He complains, “Right now it’s giving me very…drag,” as the worker nods in agreement. It just doesn’t feel like me, you know. I don’t like the way I look—like a guy in a dress.

But that’s just what he is: a dress-wearing guy. Furthermore, forcing science to fit your imagination is not the fault of the satin, the tulle, or the bad designer who put them together.
