According to Nashville police, a guy is still at large after fatally stabbing his estranged wife outside the elementary school where she worked.
The Metro Nashville Police Department reports that Niurka Alfonso-Acevedo, 52, was assaulted outside Chadwell Elementary on Monday morning.
As she came for her custodial duties. According to investigators, the stabbing happened before the kids came for class.
Investigators suspect that 54-year-old Candido Raul Rubio-Perez, her estranged husband, was waiting for her in the parking lot. After the incident, he left the area.
