Costly space travel in the wake of the recent all-female Blue Origin launch

A rocket from Jeff Bezos’ business, Blue Origin, sent an all-female crew, including Katy Perry and Gayle King, into space on April 14 for an 11-minute ride.

Lauren Sánchez, Bezos’ fiancée who was on the journey, called the experience “profound” when the six ladies returned to Earth in Texas.

Civil rights activist Amanda Nguyen called her stay in the capsule a “phenomenal dream,” while King said that upon her return to Earth, she felt as if she could “do anything.”

It’s reasonable to assume that traveling to space is a pretty exciting experience if the Blue Origin flight crew’s ecstatic emotions are any indication. However, how much would it cost.

To get the opportunity to see it for yourself? It’s not the most economical voyage, and you don’t have to be a rocket scientist, astronaut, or other space whiz to realize that.
