In his first public address since resigning as president, Joe Biden was unreserved in his criticism of Elon Musk and the Trump administration for what he described as a “brutal dismantling of Social Security.”

Speaking on April 15 at a disability rights conference in Chicago, Biden attacked the current administration’s proposed changes.

Saying they were destroying the benefits program and violating what he termed “a sacred promise” to the American people.

“This new administration has caused a great deal of harm and devastation in less than 100 days. Biden remarked, “It’s kind of breathtaking” (via BBC News).

By referring to Trump as “this guy” or “these guys,” he made it clear who he was targeting even though he didn’t address him by name.
