Following a woman’s arrest for reportedly filming her 14-year-old daughter in intimate times and then sharing the footage with others, including on social media, a startling case from Pune has garnered national attention.
The girl, a Class 8 student, courageously spoke to the police about the unsettling occurrence, which took place in the Bibvewadi neighborhood. Her mother is currently being held.
Investigators claim that when the girl’s aunt told her in January that she had received one of the recordings, it caused a stir and changed the course of the case.
After starting an investigation right after, police quickly connected the mother’s cell phone to the videos.
After the youngster allegedly told their landlord about her mother’s extramarital affair, authorities claim the woman filmed her daughter.
The tapes, according to officers, were circulated in an effort to assign blame and prevent more information about the affair from being revealed.
