According to Palestinian officials, Israel’s air and ground assault on Gaza has killed more over 50,000 Palestinians since Oct. 7, 2023.
Studies have shown that the true number of dead may be 41% higher than official figures, with over one-third of those slain being under the age of 18.
Through a series of slides on his Instagram account, actor and musician Ben Platt expressed his solidarity for the Palestinian people yesterday (via the Express Tribune).
Ben’s remarks are noteworthy since some of his family members have been outspoken in their support of Israel, notably podcaster Jonah Platt and movie producer Marc Platt.
