Urfan Sharif, her father, subsequently admitted to the heinous murder, describing a horrifying and protracted “campaign of torture” that ultimately resulted in her demise.

“My daughter was beaten to death by me, Urfan Sharif. I am fleeing because I am afraid.
An international manhunt was started after Urfan Sharif, his brother Faisal Malik, and his partner Beinash Batool escaped to Pakistan the day before Sara’s body was found.
