In a statement issued on Wednesday, his representatives referred to the claims as “clickbait stupidity” and said they came from those who were “disappointed that they no longer work with Justin.”
The announcement followed a story in The Hollywood Reporter on Wednesday that a former Bieber employee said the 31-year-old was in millions of dollars in debt after he had to postpone his Justice World Tour because of health issues.
“This is just clickbait stupidity based on unnamed — and obviously ill-informed —’sources,'” said Bieber’s staff in a statement, expressing disappointment that they no longer collaborate with Justin.
These pointless rumors and false presumptions will persist while Justin paves his own path. However, they won’t stop him from remaining dedicated to doing the right thing.
Bieber’s team posted, “Any source that is trying to sell you a story about alleged financial distress … either doesn’t understand the entertainment industry or, more likely, is trying to paint an unflattering portrait of Justin.
