Despite his couch-potato lifestyle and carb-heavy meals, a well-known chef who was diagnosed with cancer and given an only 30% chance of survival has stunned medical professionals by overcoming the odds.
In September 2023, medical professionals discovered many grape-sized tumors in Nevada resident Kevin Ashton’s belly, leading to the diagnosis of stage four melanoma, a kind of skin cancer.
The chef, who has millions of fans on social media, attacked the disease right away with radiation and immunotherapy.
However, in spite of the physicians’ advice, he continued to engage in his dangerous activities after receiving the diagnosis.
Ashton kept uploading videos of himself making greasy lunches of cheese quesadillas, overstuffed sandwiches, and smash burgers during his battle with cancer.
He would chomp into a variety of heaped foods in many of the footage.
