Donald Trump claimed in a post on his social media site that his tariffs will lower income taxes for households earning less than $200,000.
An estimated 85.6% of households will benefit, as just 14.4% of households earn more over $200,000, according to U.S. Census Bureau data from 2023.
When tariffs are implemented, many people’s income taxes will be significantly lowered, if not abolished entirely, according to Trump. People earning less than $200,000 annually will be the main focus.
Additionally, new industries and facilities are being planned or constructed, which is already creating a huge number of jobs. For America, it will be a bonanza! THIS IS THE EXTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE!
