Cash Jamal Buckman is the son of Rachel, a clerk at the Celina 52 Truck Stop in Tennessee.
Many were taken aback by the fact that newborn Cash looks Black, yet Rachel and her fiancé, Paul Buckman, are both white.
The truck stop congratulated the couple and shared a family photo on Facebook to celebrate the news.
The message said, “Congratulations to our cashier Rachel and her fiancé Paul Buckman on the birth of their baby Cash Jamal Buckman.”
Instead, the post was inundated with comments that cast doubt on Cash’s paternity, some of which implied that Paul might not be the biological father.
