During a heated interview with ABC News, Trump confuses a Photoshopped image of an immigrant’s knuckle tattoos for the real thing.

On Tuesday, April 29, Donald Trump’s interview with Terry Moran of ABC News went awry when he argued that a Photoshopped photo of Kilmar Abrego Garcia was the actual deal.

In response to a question about Abrego Garcia, who was inadvertently sent to El Salvador in March, Trump brought up a picture of the tattoos.

On the Maryland parent. Four tattoos—a skull, a crucifix, a happy face, and a marijuana leaf—can be seen on the knuckles of Abrego Garcia’s left hand.

Graphics were added to a picture that Trump had previously posted to his own social media platforms to clarify that the White House believed the symbols.
