Mom Demands Answers After an Armed Carjacker Died While Running From the Police: “He Was Not A Criminal”

Note: this story, which first appeared in the news in January 2019, is being republished.According to authorities, a carjacking suspect was killed when he and two other people were escaping from a police vehicle.

Dion Lamar Taylor, 20, who resided a block away from the scene of the incident, was identified as the deceased suspect.

Teisha Cook discussed the event with 11 News, recalling the moment she learned that her son had been killed a block away

from her home by a Baltimore County police cruiser. She stated: “I was going around trying to find my kid the

entire time, not realizing he was underneath the car, and I couldn’t find them. I called and texted him, but he didn’t respond.
