After a CIA official said that the worldwide epidemic was most likely caused by a lab leak, China made a startling revelation about the origins of COVID-19.
Following John Ratcliffe, Donald Trump’s choice for director, taking office earlier this year, the CIA made their statement.
The source of the epidemic has no universally recognized explanation, although Ratcliffe said as he assumed power that he wanted the CIA to “get off the sidelines” about its position on the issue.
“One of the things that I’ve talked about a lot is addressing the threat from China on a number of fronts,” he said in an interview with Breitbart News.
“That relates to the reasons why a million Americans lost their lives and why the CIA has been sitting on the sidelines for five years without assessing the origins of COVID.”
