Injured Girl Reports Assault, Then Faces Criminal Charges from Police

A 19-year-old girl who walked into a police station badly injured and claiming to be the victim of prolonged abuse has been criminally charged after police said they found inconsistencies.

In her account. Ellie Williams entered a Cumbria Police station in northern England showing visible signs of injury. She alleged that she had been physically harmed, coerced,

and mistreated over a span of years by a group of men, whom she described as part of an organized network.

According to reports, she provided police with names, addresses, and details of other individuals she believed to be in similar circumstances.

Despite the seriousness of the claims, police later announced that Williams would be charged with seven counts of “perverting the course of justice.”

 

A six-year-old girl’s mother was found guilty of selling her for her “eyes and skin” after she vanished last year.
