The Philippine Red Cross reports that two persons, including a 4-year-old child, were killed when a car struck an entrance at Manila’s airport on Sunday morning.
The humanitarian organization claimed in a statement that the other victim was a male adult.
The Red Cross and the airport’s operator, New NAIA Infra Co., reported that the driver of the vehicle was in police custody and that other persons were hurt in the event.
At Ninoy Aquino International Airport, dozens of emergency personnel were spotted encircling a black SUV that had crashed into a wall near an entrance. Later, the car was taken off the property.
According to the airport operator, it is working with the authorities to look into the event.
