According to court documents, Madison Marshall entered a plea on Thursday, May 1, for neglect of a dependent that results in death and neglect of a dependent that puts the dependent in danger.
The plea agreement was submitted on April 25. The start date of her trial was set on May 9.
Prosecutors then dropped multiple further accusations of aiding a criminal and neglecting a dependant. Prosecutors are asking for a minimum of 25 years in prison, according to WXIN-TV.
But when her boyfriend, Roan Waters, is on trial for murder, neglect of a dependent, and other accusations pertaining to the death of her daughter, Oaklee Snow, Marshall is forced to testify against him.
On June 9, Waters will go to trial.
In January 2023, Snow’s father reported her missing to the Seminole County, Oklahoma, Sheriff’s Office, stating that Marshall had taken her and her brother, C.S.
From his home and taken them to Indiana to be close to Waters’ family, according to Marshall’s probable cause affidavit.
