All around the country — Danasia Elder was an African American flight attendant on the American Airlines flight that crashed with a Black Hawk military helicopter when it was landing at Reagan National Airport.
She leaves behind her husband and two kids, Dallas and Kayden, and hails from Charlotte, North Carolina.
Her brother-in-law, Brandon Payne, told Yahoo News that she was “full of life,” emphasizing her love of God, her children, and traveling.
Ian Epstein, a 52-year-old flight attendant from the Charlotte region, has been identified as the other person on board.
