Following “criticism” for having vitiligo, this girl transformed her body into amazing artwork.

An amazing illustration of how to embrace our differences When Ash Soto was twelve years old, vitiligo was detected.

She started to feel self-conscious about her complexion as her vitiligo worsened, particularly when a female inquired about if she had taken a bleach shower.

In an interview with A Plus, Ash said, “I didn’t know what vitiligo was or what would happen to me, so I didn’t know how to react.”

I can still see my mother sobbing as I sat there, afraid and perplexed. I had no idea how drastically my life would alter after that.

This stunning 21-year-old is now proud of her skin rather than embarrassed of it. Ash made the decision in her teens that she would no longer allow her skin to limit her.

She started overcoming everyday obstacles, like as going out in public without a long-sleeved shirt, until the difficulties inspired her to create stunning artworks out of her body.
