A woman felt as though she was “burning alive” after a hot water bottle exploded on her body, prompting the issuance of an urgent warning.
After the hot water bottle “exploded” on her stomach and legs, Annie Thomas, a resident of Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, U.K., worries that she might be permanently scarred.
When the weather became cold, the 28-year-old utilized the home item daily.To stay warm, she would fill it three-quarters of the way with boiling kettle water, replace its “fluffy” cover, and tuck it under her jumper.
However, according to the financial social worker, the hot water bottle broke apart one fateful day, spilling the boiling liquid all over her body.
