A few weeks after his last bout, wrestling icon Sabu passed away at the age of sixty.

‘Sabu’, also known as wrestling pioneer Terry Brunk, passed away at the age of sixty. When Sabu participated in his farewell bout during Wrestlemania weekend in Las Vegas last month,

He was still in the sport. He reportedly made what is thought to be his last public appearance at the Tri-State Wrestling Alliance reunion meeting in Philadelphia last weekend.

WWE called the 60-year-old, who went by the moniker “The Human Highlight Reel,” a “gamechanger” and a “extreme maniac.”

Sabu developed a propensity of pulling out daring actions. When barbed wire was used in lieu of the ropes during one fight, he tore his bicep. He is said to have used superglue to seal a wound.

And’reattached his jaw’ on another occasion. “The loss of Sabu is deeply felt by AEW and the wrestling community,” AEW announced in a statement.
