People are pointing out that accepting a “palace in the sky” as a gift for the president might cause serious problems.
According to reports, the Trump administration is getting ready to receive a very expensive and unique present from a foreign government to the US.
The $400 million, opulent Boeing 747-8 jumbo aircraft, known as a “flying palace,” is reportedly scheduled to be given to the president by the Qatari royal family.
ABC News reports that until he leaves office, Donald Trump will be allowed to utilize the aircraft as his new Air Force One jet. After that, it is expected to be transferred to the Trump Presidential Library Foundation.
Before January 1, 2029, the 13-year-old aircraft is reportedly going to be converted to satisfy US military requirements in order to take the president and move it to the presidential library.
According to reports, the US Air Force would also pay for any expenses related to the move.
