Twelve people were injured in a stabbing incident at Hamburg’s central railway station on Friday, with six individuals reported to be in critical condition, authorities confirmed.
Police announced on social media platform X that a suspect, a woman, has been arrested in connection with the attack.
Hamburg’s fire service reported that six victims suffered life-threatening injuries, while three others were seriously hurt and another three sustained minor injuries, according to the German news agency dpa.
Officials have not released details about the suspect or the motive behind the attack.
