One of the three victims of the tragic collision was rookie quarterback Khyree Jackson of the Minnesota Vikings.

At around 3:15 in the morning on July 6, Khyree Jackson, a 24-year-old running back for the Minnesota Vikings in his first season in the NFL, along with two friends, Isaiah Hazel, 23, and Anthony Lytton Jr., 24, were involved in a vehicle crash in Upper Marlboro, Maryland.

The three were in a maroon Dodge Charger that had been their high school teammate’s vehicle when it was involved in an accident with another vehicle.

A silver Infiniti allegedly “attempted to change lanes” and was “driving at a high rate of speed” when it collided with their car, according to state police.

According to reports, the Infiniti collided with the Charger before slamming into a Chevrolet Impala. According to reports, everyone in the other cars was unharmed.

Hazel and Jackson were discovered dead at the site, while Lytton died away after being transferred to the hospital, according to a press release from the Maryland State Police.

After that, messages of condolence for Jackson, Hazel, and Lytton began to flood the internet.
