A stranded hiker on a Colorado mountain was made fun of when he refused to answer emergency calls since their number was unknown.
Hiking is a terrific way to get some fresh air and recharge your batteries, but it seems that this particular hiker was not thinking straight.
Someone got lost on Mount Elbert, Colorado’s tallest peak, on October 18, 2021, and a tale about it surfaced online. Since then, the hiker has been the target of online ridicule.
Thankfully, no one has ever found out who they are.
The person went on a trek at around 9 a.m. the same day, but was reported missing at 8 p.m. by Lake County Search and Rescue.
