‘Invasive breast cancer metastatic to at least one lymph node’ was the official diagnosis that Doherty received upon her first cancer diagnosis in 2015.
The 90210 actress went into remission after her original cancer diagnosis, but the disease returned after she had more therapy and surgery.
Heartbreakingly, she announced her diagnosis of stage four breast cancer in 2020. Once cancer has spread beyond its initial site, it is said to have progressed to a highly advanced stage.
