It is said that a father buried his crippled kid in a river and then pretended to commit a robbery to hide his guilt.
Florian Apler, 39, of Sankt Johann, Austria, reportedly tossed his 6-year-old son Leon into a river in the early hours of August 28, 2022, before telling authorities that he had been robbed.
Police eventually located Leon’s lifeless corpse in the Kitzbuheler Ache river, where he had drowned. The personal trainer insists his father is innocent as he stands trial for his death.
According to the prosecution, the murder was “meticulously prepared and cold-blooded” because, four weeks before the boy’s death, Apler had Googled “unconscious” symptoms.
Apler states that he and his son were walking in a buggy along the river when he was struck unconscious; nevertheless, the authorities did not believe him and Leon’s father was arrested six months later.
