For the 2024 Democratic presidential nomination, Joe Biden has formally backed Kamala Harris.

Vice President Kamala Harris has received President Joe Biden’s formal endorsement to run for the Democratic nomination in the 2024 presidential election.

This past Sunday, July 21, 81-year-old Joe Biden made it official: he will not be running for reelection.

Biden declared his resignation from the presidential campaign, calling his time in office the “greatest honor” of his life.

“And while it has been my intention to seek reelection, I believe it is in the best interest of my party and the country for me to stand down and to focus solely on fulfilling my duties as President for the remainder of my term,” stated Vice President Biden.

Biden has now publicly stated his support for Vice President Kamala Harris’s nomination as the Democratic Party’s presidential candidate, as the country enters unknown terrain with just a few months to go before the election.
