Prohibited Group GB The fiancé of an Olympian addresses the upsetting viral video of her slapping her horse.

After being removed from Team GB in the lead-up to the 2024 Olympics due to an inquiry into a video that she deems as “out of character,” Charlotte Dujardin’s fiancé has spoken out.

‘Making a big mistake of judgment’ was the reason for the UK’s joint most decorated female Olympian’s decision to withdraw from Team GB, which she made public days before the torch was lighted to start Paris 2024.

Dujardin had won six medals, including three gold, in the Olympics in the past. However, there is evidence from four years ago that shows her whipping a horse.

An attorney for a person suing Dujardin for animal welfare violations said that footage showing the horse being whipped

“more than 24 times in one minute” as another person rode it aired on Good Morning Britain this morning (24 July).
