A Man’s Dying Moments Captured on Film as He Dissolves in Acid, Leaving Behind Only His Shoes and Wallet

In June 2016, Colin Scott and his sister Sable traveled to the national park from Portland, Oregon.

In their quest to find a spot to “hot pot,” or swim in one of the park’s thermal springs, the 23-year-old and his brother allegedly ventured into a restricted area marked with warning signs.

Unfortunately, Colin’s sister caught the tragic footage of his death fall into the hot spring on video. In a Yellowstone Park hot spring, Colin Scott disintegrated. The social media platform Facebook took credit.

Over its 2.2 million acres, Yellowstone National Park provides an ideal setting for animal viewing in its natural habitat. Every year, an estimated three million individuals go there.

Stunning as it is, it poses serious risks to anybody who ventures there. While Colin and his sister were filming their excursion, they ventured into a restricted part of the park.
