Everyone is going crazy about Nada Hafez’s incredible feat of competing in the 2024 Olympics when she was seven months pregnant.

Hafez, a famous fencer, announced on social media during Monday’s competition at the Paris Olympic Games that she is around two months pregnant with her first child.

The Egyptian fencer, who is 26 years old, defeated a previous NCAA champion from the US, Elizabeth Tartakovsky, before falling to a South Korean, Jeon Hayoung.

After making it to the women’s saber round of 16, she spoke out about “carrying a little Olympian one” in the hours that followed.

The mental and physical hardships that Hafez and her baby faced were well-documented in an emotive post she made. It was really challenging, but well worth it,
