According to the Department of Justice, physicians were apprehended in connection with Matthew Perry’s drug-induced death. Allegedly sent a text message stating, “I am curious as to how much this moron will pay.”

As the investigation into the death of Matthew Perry, the former star of Friends, continues in California, additional information is emerging regarding the contributions of his friends and family members to his demise.

The nature and extent of their alleged roles were disclosed by authorities during a press briefing on Thursday, Aug. 15,

during which California officials announced charges against five individuals in connection with Perry’s demise in October 2023.

Jasveen Sangha, who U.S. Attorney Martin Estrada has claimed is referred to as “The Ketamine Queen,” and Dr. Salvador Plascencia, a licensed physician, were both charged with a variety of offenses.

The Department of Justice also announced that Kenneth Iwamasa, who served as Perry’s personal assistant, Erik Fleming, and Dr. Mark Chavez were each charged separately.
