Actress Danielle Fishel of “Boy Meets World” has announced a significant health update. She has been diagnosed with breast cancer,
but the main takeaway is that the disease was discovered at an early stage by medical professionals.
According to Danielle, “I was recently diagnosed with DCIS, which stands for ductal carcinoma in situ, which is a form of breast cancer.”
On “Pod Meets World,” the program she presents with her old “BMW” co-stars Will Friedle and Rider Strong, she disclosed her illness on Monday morning.
It was discovered “very, very, very early,” according to Fishel. She said that she intended to have surgery, adding, “and I’m going to be fine.”
