5:45 AM PT: According to New Jersey State Police, Troops were called to a motor vehicle collision on County

Route 551 North, milepost 11.1 in Oldmans Township, Salem County, at 8:19 PM. Preliminary inquiry revealed that two male pedalcyclists, John M. Gaudreau,

31, of Carneys Point, N.J., and Matthew R. Gaudreau, 29, of Pedricktown, N.J., were riding north on County Route 551 at the fog line.

A 43-year-old man from Woodstown, New Jersey named Sean M. Higgins was driving a Jeep Grand Cherokee north on CR 551 when it was followed by a car and an SUV.”

The SUV in front of Higgins moved to the middle of the road, dividing the north and south lanes to safely pass the two cyclists traveling north on the right side of the road.
