According to reports, 53-year-old Isaac Freeman III, best known by his stage moniker Fatman Scoop, has gone away.

According to sources like CTInsider and the New York Post, Scoop passed away on Saturday. DJ Pure Cold, whose actual name is Birch Michael, was the famed hype man’s tour manager.

DJ Pure Cold sent a tribute on Instagram after confirming the awful news, saying, “I am honestly at a loss for words.

You brought me on some of the largest and most prestigious stages in the world, and I got to perform with you there.

The lessons you taught me have [really] shaped me into the man I am today.I adore you, x, and thank you very much.”
