Elton wrote: “Over the summer, I’ve been dealing with a severe eye infection that has unfortunately left me with only limited vision in one eye” in a long Instagram post.

“I’m healing, but it’s a very slow process, and it will take some time for the affected eye to see again.”

“My family, the wonderful medical staff, and the nurses who have taken such good care of me over the last few weeks have my sincere gratitude.”
