Okay, so it’s unclear whether the two are married at all, but the Hollywood stars firmly believe that they were
unintentionally wedded during their time working together on the Dracula movie in the 1990s. I hear you ask, “How in the world did this happen?”
Their characters were married during filming, and a real Romanian priest was brought in for a particular scene. “We were married in Dracula,” Ryder has previously said. “No, I swear to God,
I believe that we are really married. Francis [Coppola] employed a genuine Romanian priest in that sequence. The master performed the whole thing and we shot him. Thus, I believe that we are wed.”
Despite not being romantically linked, Ryder and Reeves are still close friends and refer to one other as “husband”
and “wife” in jest because of their alleged marriage ceremony that took place more than 30 years ago.
