Following a “dream trip to Disneyland,” a mother is accused of killing her 11-year-old son by slitting his neck in a hotel room.
California prosecutors have charged 48-year-old Saritha Ramaraju with murder and another felony of using a dangerous weapon. According to police records,
On Wednesday, March 19, she reportedly brought a “large kitchen knife” to her son’s neck at the La Quinta Inn and Suites in Santa Ana, as reported by the Mirror.
“The safest place for a child should be in their parents’ arms,” said Todd Spitzer, the district attorney for Orange County, on Friday. He was obviously disturbed by the tragedy.
