Netflix Has Finally Added “One Of The Most Unsettling” True Crime Documentaries That People Have Ever Seen

Louis Theroux is the executive producer of a new real crime documentary that Netflix just launched. It’s one of ‘the most frightening’ things that people have ever seen, however, they warn.

The documentary highlights the contentious lawsuit against Anna Stubblefield and was directed by Nick August-Perna, who is well-known for his work with The Swell Season.

Stubblefield was a professor of philosophy whose connection led to a criminal conviction, which is why this narrative is so powerful and compelling.

The 41-year-old Stubblefield first met Derrick Johnson in 2009. They met via Derrick’s brother, John Johnson, who was a 30-year-old man with cerebral palsy who was non-verbal.

John was a student at Rutgers University in Newark, New Jersey, taking one of Stubblefield’s classes. Soon after, he went to his professor to ask for help or advise on his brother’s illness.
