Human Remains Discovered Near Taylor Swift’s Rhode Island Residence

Human remains were found in Westerly, Rhode Island, close to the location of Taylor Swift’s beachfront home, officials confirmed. Authorities noted that the identity of the remains has not yet been established.

Police are investigating a surprising discovery near Taylor Swift’s home in Rhode Island.

On the morning of May 14, human remains were found in the coastal town of Westerly—less than a mile from where the “Karma” singer owns a residence—local authorities told NBC News in a statement.

“Upon arrival, officers located what appeared to be a human leg bone,” the Westerly Police Department’s statement said. “The remains were collected and transferred to the Rhode Island Medical Examiner’s Office for further examination.”

The police added, “At this time, there is no indication of suspicious circumstances. Investigators are awaiting official confirmation of the identity of the remains.”
