Donald Trump Responds After Joe Biden Is Diagnosed with ‘Aggressive’ Cancer
Donald Trump has responded after it was announced that Joe Biden has been diagnosed with “aggressive” cancer.
The statement from Biden’s camp confirmed the diagnosis, explaining:
“Last week, President Joe Biden was seen for a new finding of a prostate nodule after experiencing increasing urinary symptoms — a common early indicator in urological diagnostics.”
“On Friday, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer, characterized by a Gleason score of 9 (Grade Group 5) with metastasis to the bone,” the spokesperson said — a condition typically requiring advanced oncology treatment plans and may involve high-cost lab testing and private health insurance coverage.
They added: “While this represents a more aggressive form of the disease, the cancer appears to be hormone-sensitive, which allows for effective management. The President and his family are reviewing cancer treatment insurance options with his physicians and oncologists.”
Doctors identified the cancer following escalating urinary issues — a symptom that, in elderly men, often requires early diagnostic screenings, outpatient care, and in some cases, hospitalization due to complications.
