Tragically, a family of four dies in a suspected murder-suicide on the day of the son’s graduation.

An suspected triple murder-suicide involving a Nebraska family that was found on the day of one son’s high school graduation is being looked into by police.

The Nebraska State Patrol was summoned to a residence in Johnson Lake, Plum Creek Canyon, on May 10 at approximately 9.45 a.m.

Four persons were discovered dead when they arrived; they were eventually identified as Jeremy Koch, 42, Bailey Koch, 41, and their sons, Hudson, 18, and Asher, 16.

According to a Nebraska State Patrol announcement, Jeremy allegedly killed his wife and sons before killing himself, according to the findings of an initial inquiry.

The high school sweethearts of more than 25 years, Jeremy and Bailey, have created a community called Anchoring Hope for Mental Health, according to a Facebook page.

They have been open about suicide in order to help others know they are ‘not alone,’ and they are also working to increase awareness of the mental health crisis.
