A man discovers that someone has constructed a $1.5 million home on the land he purchased in 1991 when he goes home.

A man was considerably taken aback to see that someone had constructed a house on some land he had bought in 1991.

In 2023, 70-year-old Long Island, New York, endocrinologist Dr. Daniel Kenigsberg learned that the land he had purchased in 1991 and had owned outright since 2011 after his brother passed away had mysteriously been sold.

All by a South African scammer posing as him.

The half-acre property at 51 Sky Top Terrace in Fairfield, Connecticut, had long been Kenigsberg’s property.

It was an emotionally significant piece of land. The land, which had been in the family for more than 70 years, was located adjacent to the house he grew up in. His father had originally purchased it for about $5,000 in 1953.
