Even the descendants of Eleazar Parmly Jr., one of the early settlers who had ties in the area dating back to 1716, had sold it to the family.
According to Greenwichtime, the desire to return to Fairfield persisted even after relocating to Long Island and pursuing a profession in medicine.
“I would definitely be delighted if one of my kids wanted to live in Fairfield, Connecticut,” Kenigsberg stated.
In May 2023, however, that fantasy took an odd turn when a friend who happened to be in the neighborhood informed him that a home with four bedrooms was being constructed on his property.
“I said: ‘I own that and I never sold it,'” he recalled the incident, telling CT Insider. I was surprised.
