A UK pork factory lost £250 million after horrifying undercover recordings revealed defenseless piglets being “beaten to death.”

Over the course of several weeks last year, an undercover investigator for the animal rights group Animal Justice Project captured the footage at the farm, which is home to 6,000 pigs.

Claire Palmer, the group’s founder, stated: “This is the beginning of a nationwide, ongoing campaign to reveal the brutal realities of pig farming in Britain.” We’re not going to mince words.

“We are calling for the prosecution of Cranswick and the immediate implementation of the ban on blunt force trauma.”

An impartial public investigation into pig raising methods and regulatory shortcomings is required. The horrifying scenes that the undercover investigator captured were denounced by supermarkets.

“These accusations involve unacceptable treatment of animals, which has no place in our supply chain,” a Sainsbury’s spokesperson stated.

“We take all reports of poor animal welfare extremely seriously and expect our suppliers to adhere to our high welfare standards,” a Tesco representative stated.
