The cop declared, “Instead of an innocent bystander or fellow officer, I will take those bullets.” Before speaking to Kevin Rojas directly, he informed the court, “If there was a coward that day, it was Rojas.”

Even though the thug tried to kill the policeman and his kid, some chastised the officer for mocking a criminal, while others praised him for having the courage to confront the man who tried to kill him.
