The groom’s father had voiced worries about the dangers of deploying pyrotechnics at the wedding location throughout the planning stages.
The owners of the facility allegedly claimed that because the fireworks were electric, “you could put your hand or even plastic [on it] and it won’t burn,” allaying his fears that sparks from the pyrotechnics might fall on the bride and groom and “catch fire.”
