“Elon Musk made false claims today. The Florida lawsuit filed by Donald J. Trump targets the Pulitzer Prize board rather than The New York Times. Only whether the case should be temporarily suspended was up for debate. It didn’t discuss the president’s allegations’ validity.

“We anticipate that the litigation will demonstrate the caliber of The Times’ coverage, and we are aware that the Pulitzer board will continue to defend its ruling. The Times has never been sued over the facts in our reporting or received a request for a correction. Additionally, Musk did not refute any of the reports we released this morning.
