Trump has now emphasized the benefits of the plan even more, praising its tax-cutting provisions while obliquely admitting that there are “certain aspects” of it that he is unhappy with.
Trump told reporters, “We will be negotiating that bill, and I’m thrilled by some aspects of it, but I’m not happy about others.” That’s how it works. It’s enormous. The large, lovely bill, but the beauty is due to everything we own.
He continued without ever directly addressing Musk’s worries, saying, “The biggest thing being I would say the level of tax cutting that we’ll be doing.”
