According to DailyMail.com, Blake Lively allegedly threatened to release Taylor Swift’s embarrassing private texts unless the pop star publicly supported the actress in her conflict with co-star Justin Baldoni.
In response to Lively’s plea to revoke their subpoena to the singer, Baldoni’s attorneys submitted a legal letter on Wednesday that contains the shocking disclosure.
According to the court document, during Swift’s intensifying legal struggle with 41-year-old Baldoni, the former Gossip Girl star allegedly persuaded Swift to erase their text exchanges and attempted to persuade Swift to make a public statement in her favor.
The most recent development provides more insight into the breakdown of Lively and Swift’s close connection, which has cooled down in the wake of the actress’s high-stakes lawsuit against the actor.
Despite Swift’s efforts to disassociate herself from the commotion, she and Lively have since been subpoenaed for conversations pertaining to the issue.
The legal team of Baldoni, headed by Bryan Freedman, responded to Lively’s ‘false’ allegations that the intended subpoena to Swift’seeks unnecessary records’ in the letter to the judge that DailyMail.com was able to receive.
